Becca Derry, Folk Bricoleur

BECCA...

has been involved in the contemporary folk scene since she was fifteen years old. Since then, she has hosted "Modern Folk Underground" on WOBC-FM and served as WOBC's Folk Director; served as the co-chair of the committee that books and produces the Oberlin Folk Festival (featuring acts such as Odetta, Richard Thompson, Richard Shindell, Tracy Grammer, Kris Delmhorst, Girlyman, and We're About 9); taught a course for Oberlin College students on the roots of American folk music; and hosted a small handful of house concerts.

Her current permanent address is in Maryland.
